The JFTC holds Training Course for Sector Regulators in the Philippine on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy

The Japan Fair TradeCommission (JFTC) will hold the training course for Sector Regulators in thePhilippine on the Antimonopoly Act and competition policy on February 4th, 2016in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA).

The training coursetakes place to provide officials of Sector Regulators in the Philippine andothers with opportunity to obtain the knowledge on the Antimonopoly Act andcompetition policy, with the purpose of supporting the enhancement ofcompetition legislation and law enforcement in the Philippine.

1. Period: February 4, 2016
2. Venue: JFTC headquarters (Tokyo)
3. Participants: 15 Sector Regulators in the Philippine and others
4. Organizers: JFTC, JICA and others
5. Contents: Lectures by academicians on the regulatory reform and competition policies; lectures by JFTC officials on relationship between JFTC and Sector Regulations; etc.
