The JFTC holds Training Course for the Vietnam Competition and Consumer Authority, Members of Parliament in Vietnam, etc. on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will hold the training course on the Antimonopoly Act and competition policy for the Vietnam Competition and Consumer Authority (VCCA), Members of Parliament in Vietnam, etc. from January 30th to February 2nd, 2018 in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The training course takes place to provide VCCA officials including Director General, members of Parliament in Vietnam, etc. with opportunity to obtain the knowledge on the organization of the JFTC, the Antimonopoly Act and its enforcement, with the purpose of supporting enhancement of competition legislation and law enforcement in Vietnam.

1. Period: January 30 – February 2, 2018
2. Venue: JICA Headquarters and JICA Ichigaya Building (Tokyo)
3. Participants: 12 VCCA officials including Director General, members of Parliament in Vietnam, etc.
4. Organizers: JFTC and JICA
5. Contents: -Lectures by academics on the Antimonopoly Act and competition policies;
-lectures by JFTC officials on the organization of the JFTC and investigation procedures; etc.
