Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) today issued cease and
desist orders and surcharge payment orders to the distributors of
uniforms ordered by All Nippon Airways Co., Ltd (ANA). The total
amount of the surcharge to be paid is 31.86 million yen.
JFTC found that they substantially restrained competition in the field
of the above uniforms by designating successful bidders and enabling
those bidders to win the bidding.
＊“Uniforms ordered by ANA” means uniforms that ANA specifies for
the employee, such as flight attendant or airport grand staff.
