The JFTC holds Training Course for the Indonesian Competition Authority on the Antimonopoly Act and Investigative Practice

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will hold the training course on the Antimonopoly Act and investigative practice for the Indonesian competition authority (Kosimi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU)) from October 16th to 19th, 2018 in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The training course takes place to provide commissioners of the KPPU, etc. with the opportunity to learn about the Antimonopoly Act, investigation methods in Japan and their practical use, with the purpose of supporting the enhancement of related legislation and law enforcement in Indonesia.

1. Period: October 16 - 19, 2018
2. Venue: JFTC Headquarters, JICA Tokyo International Center, etc. (Tokyo)
3. Participants: Five Commissioners of KPPU and others
4. Organizers: JFTC and JICA
5. Contents: Lectures by academics on the Antimonopoly Act, etc.;
Lectures by JFTC officials on the methods to investigate the violation of the Antimonopoly Act and their practical use. etc.
