(FY 2023 draft supplementary budget)

Today, I will give an overview of our draft supplementary budget as the Cabinet approved it on November 10.

We requested for a total of 425 million yen, including the amount recorded in the lump sum by the Digital Agency, for the purpose of "promoting appropriate transactions for SMEs, etc."
We hope to improve a transaction environment that enables to increase wages for SMEs persistently through the following policies.
(ⅰ)The prompt implementation of surveys on Price Pass-through for additional labor costs, etc., based on the Guidelines on Price Negotiation for Appropriate Pass-thorough of Labor Costs to be formulated by the end of the year.
(ⅱ)The dissemination of “the Act on Improvement of Transactions between freelancers and undertakings” to be enforced, and further strengthening of publicity on Price Pass-through measures.
In addition, we would like to eliminate disadvantages for SMEs as soon as possible through refinement and efficiency of the investigation of Antimonopoly Act cases.
This is the outline of our draft supplementary budget for FY 2023.
