The JFTC holds the Training Course for Vietnam on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will hold the 6th Training Course for the Vietnam Competition Authority (VCA) on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy from November 7 to 22, 2011 in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Under the circumstances that the competition law has been enforced in Vietnam since July 2005, the training course will be held to provide officials of the VCA with an opportunity to obtain the knowledge on Japan’s Antimonopoly Act and its implementation, with the purpose of contributing to the enhancement of proper enforcement and implementation of the competition law in Vietnam. The JFTC has held the training course for VCA since 2009.

The JFTC has dispatched its staff as a long term resident expert to the VCA since September 2008. The expert provides technical assistance to the VCA.
