The JFTC holds the Training Course for Malaysia on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will hold a Training Course, for the first time, for the Malaysia Competition Commission (MyCC) on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy from January 16 to 20, 2012 in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Under the circumstances that the MyCC was established in April 2011 and the competition law came into effect in January 2012, the training course will be held to provide officials of the MyCC with an opportunity to obtain the knowledge on Japan’s Antimonopoly Act and its implementation, with the purpose of contributing to the enhancement of proper enforcement and implementation of the competition law in Malaysia.

3. Participants: 4 officials of MyCC

4. Organizers: JFTC and JICA

5. Content: Investigation procedures and techniques, case studies, outline of International Competition Network and others
