Japan Fair Trade Commission
On March 29, the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) decided to commence its hearing proceedings upon requests by NTN Corporation (NTN) and NSK Ltd. (NSK) under Article 52(3) of the Antimonopoly Act (AMA) and sent notices to that effect to NTN and NSK.
NTN made requests for hearing with regard to the cease and desist order and the surcharge payment order issued by the JFTC on March 29, 2013. NSK made a request for hearing with regard to the surcharge payment order issued by the JFTC on the same day. For the outlines of the orders, see here.
