Japan Fair Trade Commission
On July 17, the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) decided to commence its hearing proceedings upon hearing requests by KOITO MANUFACTURING Co., LTD. (KOITO) under Article 52(3) of the Antimonopoly Act (AMA) and sent a notice to that effect to KOITO.
KOITO made requests for hearing with regard to the cease and desist orders and the surcharge payment orders issued by the JFTC on March 22, 2013. For the outlines of the orders, see here.
