Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) has regularly held the bilateral meetings on competition law and policy with the competition authorities in other jurisdictions for the purpose of building the cooperative relationship as well as developing the mutual understanding.
The JFTC holds the 33rd meeting with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (USFTC) and the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division (USDOJ) and the 10th meeting with the Canadian Competition Bureau (CCB) as follows.
The meetings between the JFTC and the USFTC/USDOJ have taken place since 1977, and the meetings between the JFTC and the CCB have been organized since 1987.
