Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will co-host the 10th East Asia Top Level Officials’ Meeting on Competition Policy (EATOP) along with the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI). And also the JTFC will co-host the working session “Asian Enforcers Roundtable” (hereinafter ”Roundtable”) during the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference along with the ADBI and the IBA. Both events will be held in Tokyo.
The EATOP has taken place aiming at strengthening the cooperative relationship among competition agencies and competition related authorities through candid exchange of views and information with attendance of the top-level officials from those agencies and authorities.
Roundtable is the joint project with the EATOP and the IBA Antitrust Committee. Roundtable will take place aiming at discussing development of the competition law and policy in the East Asia region by panelists from the member authorities of the EATOP.
20 authorities in the region in total will participate in the EATOP and Roundtable.
