Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will hold the training course on the Antimonopoly Act and competition policy for the Indonesian competition authority (Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (KPPU)) from March 26th to March 30th, 2018 in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The training course takes place to provide KPPU officials with opportunity to learn about the Antimonopoly Act and its enforcement, with the purpose of supporting enhancement of competition legislation and law enforcement in Indonesia.
1. Period: March 26 – March 30, 2018
2. Venue: JFTC Headquarters and JICA Tokyo International Center (Tokyo)
3. Participants: 10 KPPU officials
4. Organizers: JFTC and JICA
5. Contents: Lectures by academics on the Antimonopoly Act and competition policies; lectures by JFTC officials on the practice of the JFTC and investigation procedures; etc.
