The JFTC holds Training Course for the Competition Authority of Kenya on the Antimonopoly Act and Investigative Practice

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will hold the training course on the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) from September 10th to 14th, 2018 in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The training course takes place to provide officials of the CAK with the opportunity to learn about the Antimonopoly Act, investigation methods in Japan and their practical use, with the purpose of supporting to strengthen the capacity of the CAK in conducting case investigation in Kenya.

1. Period: September 10 - 14, 2018
2. Venue: JFTC Headquarters (Tokyo)
3. Participants: Thirteen officials of CAK
4. Organizers: JFTC and JICA
5. Contents: Lectures by academics on the Antimonopoly Act, etc.;
Lectures by JFTC officials on the methods to investigate the violation of the Antimonopoly Act and their practical use. etc.
