The JFTC holds the Training Course for the Indonesian Competition Authority on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition policy

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will hold the training course on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition policy for the Indonesian competition authority (Kosimi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha (KPPU)) from July 22 to 26, 2019 in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The training course takes place to provide officials of the KPPU with the opportunity to obtain the knowledge and expertise on the Antimonopoly Act and its enforcement so as to support the enhancement of related legislation and law enforcement in Indonesia.

1. Period: July 22 to 26, 2019
2. Venue: JFTC (Tokyo), etc.
3. Lecturers: Academics, officials of JFTC
4. Participants: 12 officials of KPPU
5. Contents: Lectures on
- Antimonopoly Act
- Investigation procedure in the Antimonopoly Act and Subcontract Act
- Training system for officials of JFTC
- Activities for competition advocacy
- Group discussion between officials of JFTC and KPPU
