JFTC, USFTC and USDOJ Held the 33rd Bilateral Meeting in Washington D.C.

The 33rd bilateral meeting on competition policy took place among the JFTC, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (USFTC) and the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division (USDOJ) in Washington D.C.. Three agencies exchanged their views over a broad range of competition-related matters including enforcement developments and priorities, merger review, interaction with other government agencies, and cooperation. The meeting was attended by JFTC Chairman Kazuyuki Sugimoto, USFTC Chairwoman Edith Ramirez, USDOJ Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division William J. Baer and other officials from the agencies.
