At the Chatham House Conference held on June 18, 2015, Commissioner ODAGIRI participated as a speaker in the Session 3 titled "Aligning Antitrust Enforcement with Broader Policy Goals". In his speech, he introduced historical evolution of competition policy in Japan and concluded that importance of competition policy and law is now widely recognized in Japan by the business, policymakers and general public.
