The 9th bilateral meeting on competition policy took place between the JFTC and the Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) of the United Kingdom in London. Two agencies exchanged their views over a broad range of competition-related matters including recent cases of big-rigging, abuse of super bargaining position and use of economics in merger review. The meeting was attended by JFTC Commissioner Hiroyuki Odagiri, CMA Chairman David Currie and other officials from the both agencies.
