The Seminar on Competition Policy in an Era of Transformation
Today, I would like to talk about the upcoming Seminar on Competition Policy in an Era of Transformation.
In light of the changing times, such as the development of the digital economy and the realization of a green society, it has become more important than ever for the JFTC to clearly explain and promote its specific initiatives in competition policy planning and enforcement for enterprises.
Therefore, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, we have decided to hold the Seminar on Competition Policy in an Era of Transformation, aimed to provide insights into the latest trends in competition policy for corporate executives, strategic planning departments, legal departments, and other relevant groups.
The first seminar on November 26 will focus on three main topics: The Act on Improvement of Transactions between Freelancers and Undertakings (Freelance Act), the Revised Green Guidelines, and the Mobile Software Competition Act. Relevant senior officials and other representatives of the JFTC will provide explanations on these topics.
We plan to continue holding this seminar regularly and hope for broad participation from enterprises.
The General Affairs Division of the Economic Affairs Bureau will be responsible for this matter.
