The JFTC holds the Training Course for China on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy

The Training Course for China on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy will be held by Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Tokyo and Osaka, Japan from October 13
to 23, 2009. Under the circumstance that a comprehensive competition law was enforced in China in August 2008, the training course will be held to provide officials of competition authorities etc. in China with an opportunity to obtain the knowledge on Japan’s Antimonopoly Act and its implementation, with the purpose of contributing to the further developments of competition legislations and the proper and steady implementation of competition law and policy in China.
The JFTC has held this training course twelve times from 1998 using the JICA’s scheme for technical assistance, according to the request by the Chinese Government.

2. Venue : JFTC, Tokyo and JICA Osaka International Center, Osaka
3. Participants : 10 officials from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the National
Development and Reform Commission and so on
4. Organizers : JFTC and JICA
