Decision to Commence Hearing Procedures against QUALCOMM Incorporated (Tentative Translation)

On January 5, 2010, the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) decided to commence hearing procedures against QUALCOMM Incorporated pursuant to Article 52(3) of the Antimonopoly Act (AMA).
This case concerns a request from QUALCOMM Incorporated for commencement of JFTC’s hearing procedures with regard to the cease and desist order dated September 28, 2009, which the JFTC issued against QUALCOMM Incorporated.
