The JFTC holds the Training Course for Vietnam Competition Authority on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will hold the 7th Training Course for the Vietnam Competition Authority (VCA) on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy from May 9 to 25,2012 in Tokyo, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The training course will be held to provide officials of the VCA with an opportunity to obtain the knowledge on Japanese Antimonopoly Act and its implementation, with the purpose of contributing to the enhancement of proper enforcement of the competition law in Vietnam. The JFTC has held the training course for the VCA since 2009.

The JFTC has dispatched its staff as a long term resident expert to the VCA since September 2008. The expert provides technical assistance to the VCA.

3. Participants: 4 officials of VCA

5. Content: Lectures by academians on the Antimonopoly Act and competition policy, lectures by the JFTC staff on investigation procedures and techniques and others
