Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), along with the Philippine Department of Justice (DOJ), the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), will co-host the 9th East Asia Top Level Officials’ Meeting on Competition Policy and the 8th East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy in Manila, Philippines.
The East Asia Top Level Officials’ Meeting on Competition Policy has taken place aiming at strengthening the cooperative relationship among competition authorities/competition related authorities through candid exchange of views and information with attendance of the top-level officials from those authorities. The East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy has been organized for the purpose of developing the common understanding on importance of competition law and policy in the East Asian region.
19 authorities in the region in total will participate in the Meeting and the Conference this year.
