Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), in cooperation with the ASEAN Expert Group and Commission for the Supervisory of Business Competition (Indonesia), will hold the training course in Tokyo under the Japan-ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF*) for ASEAN Member States (AMS) on handling the cross border cases of violation of competition law aiming to strengthen the capacity in enforcing their competition law**.
In addition, this training course will be carried out in cooperation with United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and JFTC will invite Dr. Guillermo Valles Galmés, Director, Division on International Trade in Goods and Services, and Commodities and other official as lecturers.
*JAIF: The fund, based on donation from Japanese government, established in ASEAN Secretariat for supporting ASEAN in 2006.
**This training course is the first activity of JAIF project started on last September.
