Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), together with the Trade Competition Commission of Thailand (TCCT), and the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), will co-host the 18th East Asia Top Level Officials’ Meeting on Competition Policy and the 15th East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy.
The East Asia Top Level Officials’ Meeting on Competition Policy has been held aiming at strengthening the cooperative relationship among competition authorities through candid exchange of views and information with attendance of the top-level officials from those authorities. Sixteen authorities in the region in total will participate in the Meeting this year.
The East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy is a conference open to public for the main purpose of developing common understanding on importance of competition law and policy in the East Asia region through presentation and discussion among participants, from academia, the legal field, etc. in addition to authorities above.
