Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), will hold the Knowledge Co-Creation Program for Developing Countries on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy in Tokyo and Kinki area.
The aim of this program is to support the efforts to achieve effective competition law enforcement, by providing officials in developing countries’ competition authorities with the opportunity to obtain knowledge and expertise on the Japanese Antimonopoly Act and its enforcement.
This program has been held by JFTC since 1994 in response to requests from governments of developing countries, and this will be the 30th on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy.
1. Period: from October 17 to October 31, 2024
2. Venue: JICA Tokyo Center, JICA Kansai Center, etc.
3. Lecturers: Academics and officials of the JFTC
4. Participants: Six officials of competition authorities (See below)
