Regarding the “Basic Concept Under the Antimonopoly Act on Activities of Enterprises Related to Economic Security” and the “Casebook on Economic Security and the Antimonopoly Act”

　（Note 1）The “Casebook on Economic Security and the Antimonopoly Act” presents the JFTC’s views under the Antimonopoly Act (the Act) on each of the 15 hypothetical cases of corporate actions in connection with economic security, based on the contents presented by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT).

　（Note 2）At the “8th Expert Meeting on Strengthening Industrial and Technological Infrastructure for Economic Security,” hosted by the METI on November 20, 2025, the JFTC provided an explanation regarding the “Basic Concept Under the Antimonopoly Act on Activities of Enterprises Related to Economic Security” and the “Casebook on Economic Security and the Antimonopoly Act”.
