The 20th East Asia Top Level Officials’ Meeting on Competition Policy (EATOP) and Related Meetings

 The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) will host the 20th East Asia Top Level Officials’ Meeting on Competition Policy (EATOP) (see “1.” below) and the 17th East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy (EAC) (see “2.” below) on February 5 and 6, 2026.
 Participation in the EAC is open to the public (free of charge; in-person participation is limited to the first 60 registrants). Those wishing to participate in person are requested to register by Friday, January 30, 2026, and online participants by Wednesday, February 4, 2026, via the registration form at the following link:

 Objective

 Aiming at strengthening the cooperative relationship among competition authorities through candid exchange of views and information, with the attendance of top level officials from competition authorities in East Asia, on recent activities and future challenges.
