JFTC holds the 12th Training Course on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy

 10 persons from China, Indonesia, Moldova, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Syria, Thailand, Uganda and Vietnam

2. Backgrounds

There are moves toward strengthening or introducing competition laws among developing countries and transitional countries. They have a keen interest in the competition laws and its implementation in Japan and desire to learn from our experiences. In response to their needs, the JFTC has been conducting a training course directed at the staff of foreign competition authorities since FY 1994 in cooperation with JICA.

3. Purpose and Effect of the Training Course

We hope that the training course will be an opportunity of getting knowledge of the Antimonopoly Act and its implementation and be useful for effective implementation and development of the competition laws of each country.
