 On 28th September, the JFTC co-hosted the 17th East Asia Top Level Officials' Meeting on Competition Policy along with the Philippine Competition Commission and the Asian Development Bank Institute. In the meeting, Commissioner Yamamoto delivered opening remarks and took the role of a panelist in the session titled “Recent Developments and Trends in National Competition Law and Policy- The Role of Competition Authorities in Responding to Economic Shocks”. On 29th September, the 14th East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy was held. Commissioner Yamamoto gave an opening address in the conference.
