On 25th July, the JFTC co-hosted the 18th East Asia Top Level Officials' Meeting on Competition Policy along with the Trade Competition Commission of Thailand and the Asian Development Bank Institute. In the meeting, the Chair Furuya delivered opening remarks and Commissioner Aoki took the role of a panelist in the session titled “The Role of Competition Policy in Promoting Environmental Sustainability”. On 26th July, the 15th East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy was held. the Chair Furuya gave an opening address in the conference.
