The 30th bilateral meeting on competition policy took place between the JFTC and the European Commission (EC) in Tokyo. Two agencies exchanged their views over a broad range of competition-related matters including Policy / Enforcement Priorities and Recent Developments, Recent High-Profile Cases, and International Cooperation. The meeting was attended by JFTC Chairman Kazuyuki Sugimoto, EC Director-General for Competition Alexander Italianer and other officials from the agencies.
