The 31th bilateral meeting on competition policy took place between the JFTC and the European Commission (EC) in Brussels. Two agencies exchanged their views over a broad range of competition-related matters including enforcement priorities, international cooperation between competition authorities, and intellectual property rights and competition law. The meeting was attended by JFTC Chairman Kazuyuki Sugimoto, EC Commissioner Margrethe Vestager and other officials from the agencies.
