The 35th bilateral meeting on competition policy took place among the JFTC, the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division (USDOJ) and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (USFTC) in Washington D.C. Three agencies exchanged their views over a broad range of competition-related matters including recent progress in competition law and policy, international cooperation and revision of the IP guidelines, etc. The meeting was attended by JFTC Chairman Kazuyuki Sugimoto, USFTC Chairwoman Edith Ramirez, USDOJ Principle Deputy Assistant Attorney General Renata B. Hesse and other officials from the agencies.
