On 23rd July, the JFTC co-hosted the 19th East Asia Top Level Officials' Meeting on Competition Policy along with the Malaysia Competition Commission and the Asian Development Bank Institute. In the meeting, the Chair Furuya delivered opening remarks and Commissioner Aoki took the role of a panelist in the session titled “Digital Economy – Lessons from Market Reviews and Advocacy within the Region”. On 24th July, the 16th East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy was held. the Chair Furuya gave an opening address in the conference.
