The JFTC held a training course for the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission on the Antimonopoly Act and Competition Policy

Suva, Fiji

   As part of its technical cooperation activities, the JFTC held a training course for the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission (FCCC) in Fiji, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
   The JFTC provided some input on the implementation plan for the FCCC's work on drafting the amendment bill and guidelines.
   The JFTC also provided explanations of the history and overview of the Antimonopoly Act, its enforcement cases and the Antimonopoly Act Class, which is a visiting class for students.
   Active dialogue was conducted throughout all sessions.
