Japan Fair Trade Commission
The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC), in cooperation with the Indonesia Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition (KPPU), will hold the 2nd East Asia Conference on Competition Law and Policy on May 3rd -4th and the Top Level Officials’ Meeting on Competition Policy on May 5th in Bogor, Indonesia.
The Top Level Officials’ Meeting, which was proposed by the JFTC, is materialized to dedicate itself as a venue for competition and competition related top officials to meet together and exchange views on competition policy to foster the network among competition and competition related agencies in East Asia, where economic relations have been deepening, in order to help the mutual understanding and competition environment deepen according to the individual development level on competition policy. Nine economies including Indonesia, Korea and Thailand will take part in the both conferences.
1. Date: May 3rd - 5th, 2005
2. Venue: Bogor, Indonesia
3. Participant: Top level officials at competition and competition related agencies in East Asia (For details, please see ANNEX I.) As for the East Asia Conference, representatives from industry and academia will take part in.
